Nigel Boonham 1970s plaster relief

£285.00
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Very rare, very collectible plaster relief by Nigel Boonham, fellow of the Royal British Society of Sculptors and former President of the Society of Portrait Sculptors, and one of Britain’s finest portrait and figurative sculptors.

See Nigel Boonham's site here.

This is one of his very early works of John Hunter, the founder of scientific surgery.

Nigel Boonham signed his early works as N.F. Boonham, later shortening it to just Boonham.

25cms x 20cms

Good condition with a couple of hairline cracks (see images) and a couple of chips in the paster. They do not detract from the overall aesthetics of the piece.

This has an estimated value range of between £800 and £1,000 if sold through an art auction house. Although I imagine the hairline cracks would reduce this.
